Child Protection Mediation

Child Protection Mediation has been successful in BC, and is one
of the dispute resolution options for child protection matters.
Sometimes parents and child welfare workers don't agree. The mediation
process invites everyone involved in the plan of care for a child
to come to the table and discuss what is in the best interests of a child.

A neutral mediator contracted from the private sector can facilitate
finding common goals and interests to help you reach agreement.

Successful mediation fosters more trust and less conflict and helps to
build relationships between parents and professionals.
